ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Landmark Community Foundation website and participation in programs, workshops, educational services, mentorship opportunities, events, and other services made available by Landmark Community Foundation.

ABOUT LANDMARK COMMUNITY FOUNDATION

Landmark Community Foundation is a North Carolina nonprofit organization focused on creating pathways toward housing stability, financial empowerment, career advancement, mentorship, and long-term economic opportunity.

PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

Landmark Community Foundation provides educational and informational programs and resources that may include housing and homeownership readiness, financial literacy and economic empowerment, career and workforce development, mentorship and personal development, entrepreneurship and business education, educational workshops, digital resources, and community resource navigation and referrals.

Because Landmark Community Foundation is a newly established organization, programs and services may be introduced, changed, expanded, suspended, or discontinued as the organization develops.

Program availability, eligibility, scheduling, and participation requirements may vary.

PRICING AND PAYMENT TERMS

Many core nonprofit educational and mentorship programs are intended to be provided at no cost or at a reduced cost to eligible participants through grants, donations, sponsorships, and community partnerships.

Certain specialized programs, workshops, training programs, events, or other services may require payment or may use a sliding-scale structure. Pricing will be determined based on the applicable program, service, event, registration requirements, participant eligibility, or other applicable circumstances.

Any applicable price will be clearly communicated before registration or payment.

Unless different payment terms are stated at registration or on an applicable invoice, payment for fee-based services is due at the time of registration or upon receipt of an invoice.

For arrangements involving multiple payments or milestones, the applicable payment schedule will be communicated before participation begins.

LATE PAYMENTS

If an amount becomes overdue, Landmark Community Foundation may suspend or cancel participation in the applicable paid program or service until the outstanding amount is resolved.

Any applicable late fees or collection costs will be disclosed before they are imposed. Landmark Community Foundation reserves the right to pursue lawful remedies for unpaid amounts.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Most core nonprofit programs and services are offered at no cost to eligible participants.

For paid workshops, training programs, events, or other fee-based services, applicable cancellation and refund terms will be communicated before registration or payment.

Generally, refund requests should be submitted before the applicable program or event begins. Once a program, workshop, or service has begun or materials have been provided, fees may be non-refundable except under special circumstances determined by Landmark Community Foundation.

Charitable donations are generally non-refundable. If a donation was made in error, including an incorrect amount or duplicate transaction, the donor may contact Landmark Community Foundation promptly so the transaction can be reviewed and corrected when appropriate.

If Landmark Community Foundation cancels a paid event or program, participants will be offered a refund of applicable fees or an opportunity to transfer registration when available.

For scheduled appointments, consultations, mentorship sessions, workshops, or other programs requiring advance registration, participants are asked to provide at least 24 hours' notice whenever possible.

Participants providing adequate notice may reschedule subject to program and staff availability.

Late cancellations and no-shows for paid programs may result in the loss of registration fees or require re-registration for a future session. Landmark Community Foundation recognizes that emergencies and unexpected circumstances occur and may make reasonable efforts to accommodate participants when appropriate.
